Do I have to pay anything?+
No. Your accountant pays for LedgerWell. Your client account is included.
Can my accountant see all my receipts?+
Yes — that's the point. They see everything you upload so they can classify, reconcile, and prepare your taxes. They cannot see anything you didn't share with them.
Can my accountant's other clients see my receipts?+
No. Strictly no. Per-client isolation is enforced at the database level (row-level security), not just hidden in the UI. Other clients can't even know you exist.
What happens if I leave my accountant?+
You can export everything you uploaded — full ZIP archive, plus a CSV of all the metadata. Your accountant can also remove your access from their side.
Can I use LedgerWell without my accountant?+
Yes. The same LedgerWell account works as a personal account. If you want full features (multiple Accounts, budgets, AI analysis), upgrade to Plus from your settings.
