How does LedgerWell get receipts in?+
Three ways: forward a receipt to your private LedgerWell email address (e.g. you@in.ledgerwell.app), snap a photo in the mobile app, or drag a PDF onto the page. LedgerWell extracts vendor, amount, date, and line items automatically.
What's a Group?+
A folder with personality. A Group is whatever you want to gather receipts under — a trip, a tax year, a renovation, a reimbursement, a household. LedgerWell suggests Groups; you create new ones whenever it makes sense.
Can my accountant see my receipts?+
Yes. On Enterprise, you can invite anyone with row-level isolation — they see only the Groups or clients you grant access to. On personal plans, export a Group as a ZIP and share it however you want.
Does LedgerWell give me financial advice?+
No. LedgerWell does analysis, not advice. The AI features cite the receipts they're reading — they don't tell you what to do with your money.
Is my data private?+
Yes. Every query is scoped to your account, documents live in access-controlled cloud storage, and bank credentials never touch your browser. We never sell or share data.
Who makes LedgerWell?+
LedgerWell is an official Forgewell product — the first in Forgewell's "-well" family, built by Valmonte Digital Solutions. The names are linked on purpose: Forgewell builds the tools, LedgerWell keeps the paperwork.
